Bocas, you've made an island girl out of me 🌺 🌊🌴 ☀️

This might just go down as my favorite day in Bocas. The only thing I would've done different was book this tour sooner! The water was so clear, the sky so blue, the fruit so fresh and the jungle so peaceful. I might be dreaming about this Island for a long time.

🧡 Cayos Zapatilla are two stunning, uninhabited twin islands in Panama's Bocas del Toro archipelago
👣 Named for a local legend that God left a footprint shaped like a shoe
🌴 Both keys sit flat at sea level with thick mangrove and tropical forests
🐬 They belong to the protected Isla Bastimentos National Marine Park
🐢 From March to September, endangered sea turtles come ashore to lay eggs

Take off is right outside the Teotihucan archeological site and landing varies based on weather and wind conditions. The pilots do what they can to get you as close as possible to the pyramids!

The FIFA Fan Festival is completely FREE admission. There is a line, but it moves really quickly.

Most people get this wrong:
Book your tickets to watch a show at the Palace de Bellas Artes at LEAST two weeks. It's very affordable, accessible via metro and you won't regret it.

Bring layers! It can be cool in the morning as most tour companies pick up around 4:30AM. But there is NO shade at the Archeological site in the afternoon.

Enjoy some heirloom corn tortillas at @maizajo , a stroll in the park and some real latin rhythms with @royal.latin.cdmx

Where it all started 🇲🇽✨️

I started a new chapter in June and while I've been excited about it for so long, I'm also nervous, worried and a little scared. This is the first time I don't have every single day planned, pre-booked and researched. But I think I could do with a little hakuna matata in my life.

Mexico was the first stop in a (hopefully) 6 month Latin America tour. Something felt different about this time...it felt like coming home 💖
